Natural threads
Aurifil Cotton
Aurifil Makò cotton is a very high quality thread. Its extra long fibre (35 mm), combined with the special finishing processes, results in strong, long-lasting, richly-coloured threads, for high quality final embroidery. This special production process almost entirely eliminates dusty residues during embroidery, reducing the time required for machine cleaning and maintenance.
Aurifil wool is a particularly soft and versatile fibre, composed of 50% wool and 50% acrylic. This thread lends a soft appearance to garments and is suitable for moss stitch embroidery.
The wool is available in 12wt in a range of 192 colours.

Produced by Korean company Chonbang Co. LTD., the 120 d/2 Royal Polyester is particularly suited for embroidery and stitching of sports and professional technical clothing.
This thread comes in a range of 33 colours in the 5000 m cone format.
Produced by Nakamura Shoji co. Ltd, the Rayon 300/2 embroidery thread is a two-strand parallel embroidery thread, particularly suited for embossed processing.
The Rayon 300/2 thread is used with the FS-Mode (Fine Stitch Mode) function on Tajima embroidery machines.
Transparent and strong, the Nylon 100 den monofilament thread is ideal for attaching sequins and beads onto embroidery or wherever “invisible” stitching is required.
Düzey sequins come in bright colours, in different shapes and shades, to fulfil every need in the textiles, fashion and interior industry.
Using Düzey sequins is easy and efficient. They come in ribbon rolls, which makes it possible to work continuously without any cutting and with excellent yield, saving production time.
Toho Q-Beads are an exclusive superior quality product, specific for Tajima embroidery machines. Produced by Toho Beads, a Japanese company specialising in this sector for three generations, these special beads are well-known internationally for their quality and uniqueness, the result of special craftsmanship.
Heat-sensitive gauze stabiliser is a Viscose embroidery backing material offering very high performance, thanks to which complex and dense embroidery can be created. When the embroidery is finished, the Heat-sensitive gauze stabiliser can be destroyed by exposure to heat (at a temperature of 160° for 60 seconds). This procedure avoids having to cut-finish the embroidery, as the backing is completely removed.
Mousse is a non-permanent embroidery backing material, that can be used to create special effects.
By placing the mousse on top of the fabric to be embroidered, 3D-effect embroidery can be achieved. When the embroidery is finished, the mousse must be removed by dry cleaning.
Auribond TNT is a permanent “non-woven” embroidery backing obtained from polypropylene filaments. Auribond TNT is applied with heat, without the use of chemical bonds. Also, this material features high tensile strength, resistance to tearing and stitching. Auribond TNT comes in 100m-long and 180cm-wide rolls.
Auritex is a permanent “vilene” type paper embroidery backing, particularly suited for the embroidery of badges and patches. When the embroidery is finished, Auritex can be partially “torn” off.
This material comes in 100m-long and 180cm-wide rolls.
Water-soluble felt is a non-permanent embroidery backing made of 100% PVA. This material is recommended for creating voluminous 3D embroidery and, after the embroidery stage, it can be removed by simply washing in water at 40° for a few minutes.
Trick Film is a non-permanent heat-soluble film used as backing during embroidery. Generally this film is placed under the fabric to be embroidered, against the rough part to create friction and prevent the film from moving while embroidering.
353 spray adhesive is an ecological can of adhesive vapour used to embroider fabric placed on a work surface. With this material the fabric is fixed to the work surface and it is ideal for embroidery that cannot be done on a hoop due to the size or type of material (e.g. velvet). Only the support is framed and the fabric is temporarily glued for embroidering.
